EMERGENCY OPTIONS
EM3 (NOVA LED): The emergency converter Nova LED is universal design for use with the majority of LED luminaires that work with constant power drivers. It is an emergency battery pack that uses electronic circuitry to convert energy stored in the battery into the DC voltage and current necessary to drive the LED load. The unit can be installed as maintained or non-maintained unit and it allows the same LED fixture to be used for both normal and emergency operation. Each unit includes the battery pack, LED charge indicator, a test switch and the emergency power module.
EM3B: The emergency converter using the best available technology in the market, designed for use with the majority of LED luminaires. Each unit includes the battery pack, LED charge indicator and the emergency power module. A test switch can be installed optionally.
EM3A: The emergency converter with self-test function which is universal for use with the majority of LED luminaires. Luminaires with autonomous testing system includes automatic self-diagnostic at regular intervals. Every seven days the correct performance of the module, the light and the battery is tested. Once per year the capacity of the batteries is tested simulating a mains failure and making a performance test. Two-colour status display LED indicator signalizes mains power supply and battery charge. The luminaire with autonomous testing system also has a deep discharge protection.
EM3D: The emergency converter with DALI interface and automatic test function which is universal for use with most LED luminaires and compatible with all dimmable and non-dimmable systems. All emergency units are individually addressable. Individual programming option makes it possible to use functions which transcend the DALI standard. Once per year the capacity of the batteries is tested simulating a mains failure and making a performance test. Two-colour status display LED indicator signalizes mains power supply and battery charge. The luminaire with autonomous testing system also has a deep discharge protection.
Series of EM3LOA and EM3LER emergency kits is the newest line of options that combines highly efficient LED light sources and the latest optics, designed to illuminate open areas or escape routes. A high specification LED emergency version provides high performance emergency lighting in commercial buildings where aesthetics is of prime importance, such as offices, retail or hospitality and leisure facilities. Whereas typical escape route emergency luminaires need to be spaced at every 3 to 7 meters to achieve the required illumination level, EM3LOA and EM3LER optimised optics can provide spacing up to 17 meters along the escape routes and up to 9 meters in the open areas, depending on ceiling height, that effects significantly on reduction of the number of needed emergency luminaires and, consequently, the costs of installation and subsequent maintenance.
EM3LOA: The emergency converter with additional source of light. This unit will provide 2W maximum output power at emergency mode. It is designed to be highly efficient and highly reliable. There are four functions on this unit: overcharge; over discharge; over temperature and reverse battery protection. This emergency kit works as a non-maintained, provides emergency lighting for open areas. When the mains fail, the spotlight will provide illumination for 3 hours. The emergency spotlight is simply installed in the body of the luminaire.
EM3LER: The emergency converter with additional source of light. This unit will provide 2W maximum output power at emergency mode. It is designed to be highly efficient and highly reliable.
