EXAMPLE: 19 o’clock street lights are turned ON and at 6 o’clock turned OFF. In this case we have total of 11 hours

long operation, middle point in this case is 5.5 hours which makes “natural midnight” at 00:30, so power goes down

to 50% operation at 21:30 (00:30 – 3h), returns to 100% operation at 04:30 (00:30 + 4h).Power switch always takes

average of last 3 operating times to calculate reference point.

Energy costs are based on the power price of 0,12 Euro/kWh. Output reduction is based on an assumed period of 6 hours

per night, 365 days a year. Lamps must always be ignited with the higher rated wattage of ballast and not switched down

to reduced wattage before 10 minutes of normal operation after the ignition of a lamp.
